Our innovation to enhance the riding feeling. Bareback pads allow the rider to sit even closer to his or her horse, to feel all the warmth and to be fully aware of how the horse is moving. In short: bareback pads strengthen the bond between rider and horse. The horses themselves also show us time and again that they like the bareback pads and find them comfortable – probably because they fit ever so snugly into the shape of their back. Even horses with sensitive back muscles can benefit from our bareback pads.
 
In order to address the different needs which horses and riders have, we have given loving attention to detail in the development of our various models. Only by virtue of this meticulous attention to detail can we be sure that each horse-rider couple will be able to find the perfect bareback pad for themselves. Our bareback pads can all be used without stirrups or with stirrups if desired for better balance. The stirrup leathers are then simply attached to D-rings. There are also lambskin girths for the bareback pads in various designs and lengths.
 
Description
The seat is made entirely of high quality lambskin, the underside only the back. Composite foam inserts and a wedge-shaped bolster at the back will ensure that you not only sit comfortably but that the pad is nice and comfortable for your horse too. It is especially for horses with pronounced withers that the PLUS versions of the bareback riding pads line should be used. Like other bareback pads, the bareback riding pad Basic Plus is usually ridden without strirrups. Stirruo leathers can also be attached to D-rings under the lambskin seat for better balance.

Care & Cleaning
WERNER CHRIST HORSE products can be machine-washed at a maximum temperature of 30 ° C in the wool wash-cycle. 
We recommend using our WERNER CHRIST C7 laundry detergent for lambskin. It is an environmentally friendly concentrate specially developed for optimum results with our products. 
After the wash cycle you can dry our sheepskin items in your tumble drier (at a temperature up to 40° C) or in the fresh air. Regularly pull your sheepskin into shape while it is drying.
